Garden of Greats: Historical Figure Article Pitch

For the 2024 cycle of ‘Garden of Greats’, we're looking for submissions that creatively document history of Black Queer trailblazers through reoccurring tributes to teach others about the collective impact being left for and by our community.

With leaders across sectors pushing for change in schools, sharing tools and resources internationally, and contributing to historical progress within policy reform, this initiative gives well-deserved recognition and flowers to people for their achievements at all stages of their journey.

‘Garden of Greats’ spotlights editorial representations of the answers we find to the question: What story do you want to tell about a Black Queer, Trans, and/or Nonbinary community member(s) to pay tribute to them?
