CUT in Blaque: Artist Submission Form
We are now actively seeking creative submissions for the 2024 cycle of the ‘Closet Unlocked Theater (CUT) in Blaque’ featured artist set. This initiative provides a space where communities can unite in unison, love, and support to showcase Black Queer talent and enjoy entertainment from various artists.
Each artist feature combines a sample of their work and a summary of their accomplishments to display representation throughout industries that have historically excluded Black LGBTQ+ folks.
‘CUT in Blaque’ spotlights editorial representations of those who are often overlooked and the answers we find to the question: What story do you want to tell about a Black Queer, Trans, and/or Nonbinary community member(s) to pay tribute to them?
Fill out this form to pitch a story idea, expressed through text or visual media, that you'd like to create for publishing on The Closet Unlocked. If your pitch is selected, our editors will get back to you with an update on the next steps. View a work sample here.
